Which phones does Kilopilot work on?
Any iPhone on iOS 18 or later. There's no Android version yet.
Who is Kilopilot for?
Adults who want to lift, lose fat or both, at the gym or at home. You need to be 18 or older; the app won't build a plan for anyone younger.
What do I get for free?
Starter is free: a typical workout plan, built once, with full logging and personal records from day one. No subscription needed.
Plans and billing
How does the free trial work?
Yearly Train includes a 3-day free trial, and yearly Train + Fuel a 7-day one. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you won't be charged. If you cancel during the trial, your plan stays open until the trial ends.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in Kilopilot go to Me › Subscription › Manage subscription. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds, so we can't issue them ourselves. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple Support. In the EU and UK you may also have a right to cancel within 14 days.
Your plan and coach
How does the weekly check-in work?
Once a week, on the day you choose, your coach looks at your weigh-ins, sessions, steps and how you felt, and decides whether to change your calories, your step goal or an exercise. It explains what changed and why, every time.
What if I have a bad week?
Nothing changes because of one bad week or one reading on the scale. Your coach looks at trends.
Can I change my plan?
Yes. Before your first workout, Plan › More about your plan › Ask for changes is free. After that, Rebuild changes your goal, days or place once per phase. Any exercise can be swapped for one that works the same muscles.
How do I start my next phase?
At the end of each phase, Kilopilot asks "Still right?" so you can update anything that's changed, such as your goal, days or an injury. Then tap Build phase 2 and your next plan is built from how the last one went.
What's the difference between Ask for changes and Rebuild?
Ask for changes is free until your first workout: tell your coach what isn't right and it adjusts the plan. Rebuild changes your goal, training days or place, once per phase, from Me › your name › Rebuild my plan.
Is the coach AI?
Yes. Plans, check-in notes and recipes are written with AI. Targets, portions and weekly sets are calculated and checked in code.
Data and privacy
Where is my data kept?
Workout and meal logs, records and weigh-ins stay on your iPhone. Your plans and check-ins are kept on our servers in the EU so they come back when you sign in on a new phone. Progress photos never leave your phone unless you share one yourself.
Do you show ads or sell my data?
No ads, and your data is never sold. Usage analytics are anonymous and only collected if you opt in.
How do I export or delete my data?
Me › Account & data › Export my data makes a file in CSV and JSON. Me › Account & data › Delete account deletes your account and data. Cancel any subscription with Apple first.
Health and safety
Is Kilopilot medical advice?
No. It gives general fitness and nutrition guidance and doesn't diagnose or treat any condition. Check with a doctor before you start if you have a health condition, take medication or are pregnant.
What should I do if something hurts?
Stop, and get help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath while training. Tell the app about pain areas and it adjusts your exercises.
